Review on SLPR Wildflowers 2-Piece Patchwork Cotton Bedding Quilt Set - Twin with 1 Sham in Blue Country Style - Quilted Bedspread by Josh Gerhardt

This quilt set arrived today. I spent hours and hours on Revain and elsewhere in search of exactly what I wanted. At first I wanted a quilt this size - 92 x 92 inches - or something. I use this on a full size bed that sits on a 4.5 inch spring base and then a reinforced metal bed frame. The entire bed is about 23-24 inches off the floor. I wanted to cover all sides of the mattress and reach the floor almost everywhere without needing a cover, but I also wanted lightness. I bought a beautiful blanket last September but it weighed about 11-12 pounds. I'm in my 70's and can't pick this up and spread it all over my bed every day. The size and weight of this duvet is perfect for me and the bed. This one weighs just under 6 pounds. The colors are very similar to what I see on my computer screens - very muted and subtle, but with lots of variation. Blue, Dark Green, Coral, Gray. Picture. And remember - this is an actual quilt, not a large piece of fabric printed to look like patchwork. This is also good quality cotton. The pads are ok but not colossal. I have always used filled pads in all my rubbers and they are a bit tight in these specific rubbers. I think a regular sized pillow would work better. But – I put them on and they look okay. My basic requirements - size, weight of the blanket, real cotton, real patchwork if possible - were met. And honestly I think the price is very reasonable for what you get. So I would recommend this duvet and definitely buy another one from SLPR.
