This jacket is not as long as in the photo. It only comes down to the thigh and barely covers the buttocks. And what appears to be some kind of cotton/tarpaulin material is actually a more stretchy texture, like a raincoat. It also shines more than in the picture. If you need pockets to put your hands in, you won't have them. The pockets are too centered on the front and too high. However, it looks well cut and is otherwise true to size. Nice jacket, just different. I save it for rainy days.
