I bought this to replace ball joints on a Jeep Wrangler. My complaints are that the tapered adapter isn't cut at the same angle as the arms that the ball joints are pressed into, so I had to take a grinder and align the arms to fit the adapter. When I started pressing in new ball joints, I found that the wall thickness of these adapters was about half that of an equivalent OTC adapter. In some cases it doesn't make a difference, but in this case it meant the adapter had slid over the outside of the ball joint. Luckily my OTC kit had the required crimp adapter so I could get the job done.
