Update 1/19 I love this jacket. It has some advantages and with some modifications it can be a great jacket for dogs. Mainly use Velcro for the dog's hood and back. Those elastic laces on the back should be uncomfortable for the dog. You stick your legs through them and they are dangerously close to a private area. The drawstrings on the hood give the dog something to chew on and don't hold the hood in place effectively. I like anything for the harness/leash. The jacket itself is good. This jacket appears to have been designed by someone with no experience with dogs. Regardless, I've changed my rating from one star to three in hopes that the manufacturer will reconsider the design. As soon as I put the jacket on my dog, the drawstring cap came loose. I was so concerned that the other one might come loose that I just threw it away. Too bad because the rest of the jacket looks good but if you can't use it then it's just a waste of money.
