This card is sensitive to connected cables. When I changed the old cable on the AVE D40 connected to one of the active speakers to a new one and connected it with one tulip to the 3.5 center-sub connector, the sound from it became uniform, and before that it was unsatisfactory. I connected ADAM monitors to the leftmost connector, one tulip to them. To the specified connector of the card, a 3.5 jack, and to the third connector of the creative T-20 speaker (for voice-over of medium frequencies) according to the 5.1 system, and the sound became quite good. I use this card to get surround sound from a computer. It connects both 3.1 and 5.1 or 7.1. If a good recording comes from the source, excellent sound is transmitted.
