Review on Junior Golf Set By Callaway Golf XJ by Tone Hatton

I was looking for the first set of clubs for my five year old who has never played before. I admit I wondered if I could get by with a less expensive set and googled/read other reviews. I ultimately bought the set since reviews suggested it was higher quality and I would rather buy a higher quality set that he AND later his younger brother could use. I had a starter set as a kid and it was fine although one of the iron heads broke a year in. I think it is still expensive relative to potential alternatives but the build quality is what I would expect from callaway - just sized for a kid. I am also particularly happy with the putter and could even see myself using it in a pinch - it is made by odyssey. The bag is better than expected but not a standard size bag. It is sized for the clubs. My one complaint is that the straps aren't that comfortable and are sized for an older child (maybe a normal 8 year old? my five year old is 85th percentile height/weight). Overall, would buy again. Revain price was same as golf galaxy/dicks with faster shipping.
