This was my VERY first purchase of a rug pad from this company - Rug Pad USA, and I and very VERY happy with it. Why. 1) the fair price 2) the excellent quality of felt and the non-slip rubber bottom 3) the choice in choosing the thickness of the pad, such as the 1/2", 1/4" and I believe 1". I got the 3x5 1/4" thickness for a wool oval rug and very please that I did. I would love to get the much larger size pads for my huge wool oval rugs, but that's for the future. So far, this pad is NOT leaving a stain on my hardwood floor such as the cheap silicone/rubber pads that's widely available. However, I wish this company would sell pads for oval rugs - not round, but oval.
