RUGPADUSA Non-Slip Rug Pad - 6' Round - Felt + Rubber - Safe For All Floors - Modest Comfort Review

This is our third RugPadUSA rug pad and they are a great pad for the money! I will say that the measurements are right on. When you order a 6' round rug pad you get a 6' rug pad. I would have thought they would be an inch smaller than that since rugs are purchased in regular sizes and you want your rug pad to be slightly smaller than your rug, obviously, so these rug pads usually need to be trimmed. However, I'd rather they were a bit too big than too small! All-in-all a great pad!

I bought two of these. One for an approximately 7'x9' rug and one for a 2.5'x10' runner. Both are on vinyl plank floors. This works great for our larger rug; it doesn't move around at all. The runner, however, is giving me issues. The runner is too light and although the pad doesn't slide around on the floor at all (rubber side down, of course), the rug slides around on the pad. I’ve ordered about 6 rug pads from this company now in various types and sizes and I’m really happy with all of them. There was even a problem with one order and they promptly fixed it. Product purchased to go under an area rug on a wood floor. The backing prevents rug from sliding and the felt provides a nice cushion under rug without being too thick to trip on. No bad chemical smell like pads from other companies. Very happy with purchase, would definitely buy again.

This pad is wonderful to say the least. I have a certain rug ( dont want to mention the brand) that I wanted to put pad under w/o buying the $120 dollar one that you can get from the dealer. well it's better than padding that is really shelf liner, but it's a quite a bit more expensive than the shelf liner rug pads. So, whether this is worth the extra cost depends on how much pad you need. I have mfg wood floors over concrete slab foundation. I worry about varicose veins developing as a result of the hard floor, so i placed this padding under area rugs to get at least a little cushioning.

We bought this rug pad to replace an old one and this one is a huge upgrade for us! Our rug is a double sided wool rug that slips on our floors a lot. Even with our old rug pad we had issues with it moving, and especially as it’s in our living room where I tend to workout, it was a constant nuisance. This rug pad stays put! Plus it gives it a nice thickness that really increases the look of the quality of our rug. It was also the perfect size. We are very happy with it!

The rug pad stays in place with no movement in a medium traffic area on luxury vinyl floors. Nice subtle cushion. I will purchase again for another runner.

This rug pad is everything I needed. The rubber backing is non-slip and does not move.I got the 9x12 and did have to cut off some excess but that’s almost always normal with rug pads. The package was very large due to the size I got so you may need help getting it in your home.I used carpet tape to further secure the rug pad to the floor and it worked great!I would recommend purchasing!

I had been using a cheap IKEA under rug anti slip pad and it became bunched up and ineffective after about a year and a half. This caused my flat weave rug to bunch of every time I walked on it or moved my coffee table. This under rug pad seems to be a viable solution for the problem. It adds comfort, and my rug seems to be solidly in place. Seems expensive, hence the one star removal

I understand folding the pad for easier shipment but requires a period of time to allow the folds to settle out prior to replacing carpet. My 8x10 rug was smaller than their 8x10 pad so required some heavy duty scissors to trim. Found the 1/4 inch thickness just right for me. Good choice if you need a pad.

I gave this low stars in some places. let me explain. The texture of this mat is rough. There are rough little fibers through it. Not like stab you in the foot, but just rough. For me, that’s what I wanted because I bought a ruggable rug with no mat. So I bought this in hopes that they would stick together and, they do. It was not a 5x8 but a 5x9. no biggie. I have a 8X10 wool rug that my dogs were always moving. I tried the everything and didn’t want to spend that much but finally caved for the RUGPADUSA. All I can say is GAME CHANGER! Super happy with this buy. The felt on the top grips to my rug and the rubber on the bottom keeps it in place. This is the third time that I have ordered from rug pads USA and will not be the last time. Good price, good value and love the rubber nonslip bottom since I have all hardwood. Add just enough to a standard rug to give a little bit of extra cushion which is perfect, while keeping it from sliding around. Love this carpet pad! I bought it for a 6x9 Ruggable rug, and while the pad was a smidge to large, it's easy enough to cut with a box cutter. (I'm sure a pair of good scissors would work as well.) My rug doesn't slip at all, and I can finally vaccum without it getting all bunched up. The carpet pad has a sort of texture to it that helps the bottom side of my rug stick to it almost as if it's velcro. I highly recommend.

This rug pad is a very good thickness and stays in place on my hardwood floors. I was having issues with my thin rug on top of the pad moving around a bit. Customer service told me to purchase an inexpensive double sided carpet tape and that seemed to do the trick to keep the rug from slipping. This pad is not pet proof. The liquid will go through both rug and rug pad to the hardwood flooring.
