Great for a runner rug

This was my first purchase of a felt rug pad. I wanted something for our rug runner that would keep it from moving. Our cats like to race around and push the rugs across the floor. I don't have any other rug pads to compare it to. I needed a 12 foot length and 2.6' width so there isn't a lot of choice. I checked reviews and this was reasonably priced compared to other brands. It added some cushioning. I ordered one to see whether I liked it and was very pleased, the rug stayed put so I bought a

Pros
  • DENSE CUSHION - Pad contains 17oz of felt and 14oz of rubber per square yard. Thickness is approximately 1/8" throughout (actual thickness may very slightly in production). This combination offers moderate cushioning without bulking.
Cons
  • Chemical odor that may be overpowering

Good rug for the money

This rug is not thick or plush, but it is very soft. So It's about what you would expect for the dollar value. I put a good carpet pad under it and it suits my purpose well. If you're looking for thick or plush. keep shopping.

Pros
  • Provides an extra layer of insulation for your home
Cons
  • Can absorb stains and spills

Makes a big difference

We bought the 7’10” x 9’10”, 1/4” pad and it instantly made a big difference with the main rug in our living room. We used it with an exact 8x10 rug and did not have to trim the pad at all. We used it on hardwood floors and so far so good. The 1/4” size feels nice and I would not even bother with the 1/8” unless you only need it for the non-slip backing. I will definitely purchase this for the other thinner rugs in my house!

Pros
  • Keeps rugs in place and prevents them from moving
Cons
  • May cause allergies or respiratory issues

Love These Rug Pads

This is the second rug pad I've purchased on Revain from RugpadsUSA. For thicker rugs, the 1/8" thick pads work well but for thinner rugs (Caucasian, Kilims etc) the 1/4" thick pads are better. My current application was for a 20' x 2'6" thick Oriental-type rug placed on top of a Saltillo tile floor. The most cost effective solution entailed purchasing an 8'x10' rug pad, cutting it into two 10' x 30" sections and then duck taping the two long ends together to create the length I needed for the…

Pros
  • Good pad- easy to install and cut to correct size of rug.
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with certain types of rugs

Surprisingly great!

This was exactly the rug pad I have been looking for--keeps my rug in place despite my high intensity workouts on the rug (no slipping of the pad on the floor OR of the rug on the pad!), not too thick but thick enough (I got the 1/4 inch because I didn't want to trip over it), and even adds a surprising amount of comfort to my rug (I like to sit on the floor). It was easy to unroll and lay flat, easy to trim to fit my rug the way I wanted, and no weird smells. And it even arrived quicker than…

Pros
  • Rug Pads
Cons
  • Not eco-friendly or sustainable

Great rug pad for the money

I’ll start this by saying that we have only had this installed for a few days. So far it is great. The padding seems to really have a nice grip on both our hardwood and the area rug that is on top. The padding is soft and not unusually thick. We have two extremely large dogs who like to run and stop on the rug. Our previous pad did nothing to stop the rug from folding up, but with this one, nothing has moved. So far, I’m extremely impressed.

Pros
  • Great product sift and no slippery rug.
Cons
  • Bulky and difficult to store

Good rug pad, but size-up on thickness

Me fire purchasing this one (felt w/ rubber backing) we had purchased 2 other sizes of the rug pad that were "felt only” (no rubber backing), also in the 1/4” thickness. It seems like the "felt only” ones are thicker and softer than the "felt w/ rubber backing” one. I would have sized-up and gotten a thicker one if I had known it was actually thinner and not as much cushion as the "felt only” ones we got. But it’s too much of a pain to move all the furniture again, so it’ll do :)

Pros
  • Helps maintain the value of your rugs and floors
Cons
  • May not stay in place on sloping surfaces

Exactly what I wanted/needed

I bought this pad for a Persian rug, which is an odd size. I was afraid it would be difficult to cut down to fit my rug, but it wasn't too difficult at all. I was able to trim it down with a pair of household scissors, so now it fits perfectly. The rubber backing will help keep it in place, and the1/4 inch thick felt pad will protect the rug from abrasion, plus it's a bit cushier to walk on. Price was fair, as well, so it was a good value.

Pros
  • Prevents slips and falls, particularly for the elderly or those with mobility issues
Cons
  • Can reduce air flow around the room

Feels good to walk on.

Quality good. Easy to cut. Felt good to walk on underneath my kilim. Just installed. Assuming it will not damage hardwood floor over time.

Pros
  • CUSTOMER SATISFACTION - You’ll love this rug pad, and if you aren’t absolutely satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days for a full refund. Contact us via messaging and we will be happy to assist.
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor use

Great for my desk chair

This works perfect under my desk chair and balouch rug. I was using a Epica super grip pad previously but once that got a little dust on it there was no traction and it left diamond print scuff on any surface I used it on. So far this lays perfectly and just enough cushion to keep my chair from rolling all over the place. Doesn't really have much of an odor, good quality and shipped fast. It sticks well to the floor without leaving any marks but my rug kind of moves around a lot and I have to…

Pros
  • Reduces tripping hazards by preventing rugs from bunching up
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable to walk on barefoot

best rug pad on my review.

This is the fourth rug pad I've bought from RugPadUSA in the past two years - after replacing one that had disintegrated over time, I was so happy with the product I've replaced all my rug pads. I bought the 1/4" thick to go under oriental carpets. Having rubber on one side ensures the rugs don't slip on the hard wood floors. The quality exceeded my expectations based on the price - a bargain. Very easy to cut.

Pros
  • Provides a non-slip surface for rugs on all floors
Cons
  • Can cause damage to antique or delicate flooring

Ummm, it does NOT come to the ordered size

So yeah, it’s soft and really helps the rug out because of it. It also doesn’t slip. But you know what? I actually ordered it to be slightly smaller than my 8’x10’ rug so no pad would show, and so I did not need to do any cutting. The pad itself was way larger than my 8x10 rug, so yes I had to cut the rug pad myself after all. Really was not thrilled with this. Like how hard is it for Rugpad USA to measure and cut a pad to the specification?

Pros
  • Provides a cost-effective alternative to professional rug installation
Cons
  • May not fit well under unusual shaped rugs

We purchased this rug pad to go under a new area rug. It came quickly, was exactly as described, and works well under the rug. We have hardwood floors, and this pad works well underneath the rug.

Pros
  • Perfect size -not too high so to trip and adds cushion* couldn’t be happier with this purchase
Cons
  • Does not adhere well to hardwood floors

Quality Product good for me

Arrived quickly. Easy to cut with a good pair of scissors. Measured and marked with chalk pencil. No slippage, is comfortable to walk on, and is not too high. I’m happy.

Pros
  • Pad fits good, needs to trim one side to fit rug.
Cons
  • Attracts and traps dirt and debris

Nice rug pads best in my review

I ordered 2 different sizes-one for a small area rug and one for a runner, both on hardwood floors. They are nonskid and give nice padding to my vintage wool rugs. I also like that they are thin enough to trim with scissors. So they are customizable.

Pros
  • Resistant to mold and mildew for added protection
Cons
  • May produce static electricity

Excellent for my needs,,

This rug pad is the best I've seen for my flat woven area rugs, good thickness and grips and stay where it is put. Many thanks.

Pros
  • Backed by a satisfaction guarantee for added confidence in your purchase
Cons
  • Can be too thin or too thick for certain flooring types

Did the trick. on my review.

We replaced the area rug in our living room some months ago and it has seemed to be rather hard and flat. We have hardwood floors so we needed to consider slippage both at the floor/pad and pad/carpet interfaces. We've been thinking that a thin pad would help but wanted something more than just a non-slip pad. This 1/4 inch felt pad with a non-slip backing was just the thing. It is thin (1/8 inch each rubber and felt) but is exactly what we wanted as we didn't want to create a large gap between

Pros
  • Offers peace of mind for parents with small children or pets
Cons
  • May have limited soundproofing properties
