Comes folded not rolled
I understand folding the pad for easier shipment but requires a period of time to allow the folds to settle out prior to replacing carpet. My 8x10 rug was smaller than their 8x10 pad so required some heavy duty scissors to trim. Found the 1/4 inch thickness just right for me. Good choice if you need a pad.
