We have an old gelding who has always been a picky eater but as he gets older he loses more food than he eats. We tried various methods to get him to stick his head over the bowl, but none of them worked. I decided to try the feed bag and bought this because it was real canvas. It worked like an absolute dream. It's no problem getting him to accept the package - just let him sniff the food and after a few puffs he'll eat it. Now he cleans the bag at every feeding, nothing missing or missing. I put it on and leave it on for 30 minutes with no problems. I highly recommend this bag.
