Love this duvet. I've had it for a few months now and it was soft, fluffy and warm (but not too warm). The duvet cover I was looking to buy it for is still a project I have not yet completed so it was completely unprotected when my cat decided to cough up a ball of hair on my beautiful white soft fluffy duvet. It removes stains very well. just cool, damp paper towels to hold him until I get to the laundry room. I took it today to throw in one of the big front loaders. It was the first time I washed it and I was worried. This "duvet cover" I'm working on used to be a very expensive BB&B duvet. The padding inside was so stuck together from washing that I ripped it out completely and kept the ornate cover. But this ceiling was not lost at all. After one wash and a tumble, it was even softer and fluffier than before and not a single lumpy stain was left. There wasn't a single stain to be seen either, which made me think that this material cleans very well. It cost me less than $5 to take it to the laundry, no professional cleaning required.
