Review on 🌬️ Uniflame C-1242 5 Qt. Cast Iron Humidifier with Chrome Handle: Enhance Air Quality and Moisture Levels by Diane Hubert

VERY rough cast iron. Made in China, ie sharp edges on the edge, very coarse cut on the spout. Painted black, paint scraped off in a few places, but we are still planning to burn it in before use. I was considering getting a used one at an antique store, but the old ones are a lot more expensive (but much better finished) and it seemed like a good deal at $42. You get what you pay for. I think this is normal, but I was expecting a higher quality finish. I can disassemble the angle grinder and smooth out the bumps a bit myself. The handle is quite strong, difficult to bend to fit the lugs, seems to suit the kettle's weight well. Overall it looks like a heavy piece.
