I have never reviewed a product but this product worked so well right out of the box that I think it should make a great review to help other PC gaming enthusiasts when in doubt. I have an EVGA 2080ti and wanted to experience 4K gaming on my LG CX OLED display. To play games at 4k resolution, 120Hz, and full 10-bit RGB color, you need an HDMI 2.1 output from your graphics card. The 2080ti is HDMI 2.0b only, so you won't typically be able to get those output settings. I tried using the club3d DisplayPort to HDMI 2.1 adapter but it was buggy and didn't work well with NVIDIA driver updates. Enter this wonderful device. The 2080ti has a USB-C output called Virtual Channel and it can output up to 8k. I plugged this adapter into the GPU's USB-C port, connected my certified HDMI 2.1 cable to the OLED display, and bam. It worked right away, 4k, 120Hz, full 10-bit RGB output. The only downside is that due to technical limitations the 2080ti doesn't support HDMI 2.1 natively, I can't use G-Sync. You should have this device until you get next-gen GPUs!
