I'm a bit confused about this product. It's called "SmartFido" and the brand name is "Smart Kitty". It says it's a 'cat' paw balm, but the description also says it's for 'dog' paws and year-round use for 'dogs'. Is this a product for cats? product for dogs? Who knows! Anyway, I use it for my two dogs. I currently use Musher's Secret, a popular brand of paw balm. It has the same texture and consistency. It seems to protect my dog's paws and nose well, but please note that it's just petroleum jelly and vitamin E, while Musher's Secret is a mixture of white and yellow beeswax, carnauba wax, candelilla wax and vitamin E, like shea butter, coconut oil , paraffin and so on. This SmartFido product also contains "natural flavoring" that can be anything - hopefully safe to lick! A 200 gram container of Musher's Secret typically costs $20, which is a comparable price.
