We bought complete everpure sets with hot and cold water from the hardware store and brought a replacement device online every two years because it's more convenient for us. We have been using this household appliance for almost ten years without any problems. Our family size is small and we only use it for drinking and not for cooking. Tap water can be used for cooking as its boiling point is sufficient. It's much more convenient than buying bottled water. The only thing I would like to improve on the Everpure unit is that instead of having something like paper test strips with a battery indicator reminder to regularly check the water condition so I can tell exactly when to change the filters have to. .
