Melissa & Doug Magnetic Sleeping Dress Up Review

My daughter and I can play with these four watches. We have almost every second princess, the dresses are interchangeable and at 3 years old it helps their imagination and more. Also these things are very adorable, trampled on from spilling on them and just neglected to take care of them but the magnet still holds strong and there are a few spots on the paper but it doesn't tear or peel away. We gave them to family and friends who ended up loving them.

I bought 5 of these so I leave the same review for each one. Kids of all ages will make something with 30+ pieces with no customization. My granddaughters LOVE these princesses in costume and they are as well tailored as they are beautiful - but why not a hat? This is particularly annoying because Melissa and Doug REALLY make another generic mermaid dress-up figure that has a lid that slides into a groove on the box, instantly turning it into a PORTABLE toy.

This is a great set for a little girl. The dolls themselves are made from approximately 1/2" thick wood, while the dresses/shirts/skirts/bows/crowns/accessories are made from just under 1/4" thick wood. I have bought three of these sets for three different girls and each time they have been a hit. The girls were 4 and 5 years old. They are very well made and feel like they are about to be slapped. I ordered this for my 3 year old who loves sleeping beauty. Since Sleeping Beauty is not available separately in the set, I bought this set which includes Snow White. She loves it and loves to make cute outfits for both princesses. The magnetic pieces stick well and the variety of outfits and accessories are colorful and pretty - just like in the movies. Like my experience with other Melissa and Doug products, this is well made. Magnets hold well, everything is made of wood except pictures. This is paper glued into wooden magnets. My youngest niece is too young for it but grabbed a piece when her sister was playing with it and put it in her mouth. Now there's a tiny tooth mark and some kind of torn picture of where she bit him. If that bothers you along with dozens of tiny accessories, this toy might not be for you. My two biggest downsides are
