Yes, I paid more for the fee; but in comparison I had no problems. The rest of the "J" boards were ALL defective so I sent them back. Almost $1 more per board but well worth it! 9/30/20 UPDATED: I used to be happy with the quality so I've ordered more for the gallery shop as a last resort: all have imperfections, dark spots, chipped edges, lines through them. Since I used mixed mediums and covered them up, after priming I simply taped the background sheet over the surface. You get sloppy.
