I am very happy with the results of this shaver. The gel strips are great and provide just the right amount of lubrication for shaving. Other reviewers seem disappointed with the gel - it's not a "gel" that can be poured out of a can. You definitely can't dry shave this razor and it doesn't foam, but when you shower/bath it delivers just the right amount of gel for a smooth and pain-free shave. I was surprised how long the gel lasts. I had no issues with the closeness of the shave as other reviewers have noted, I found it to be just right and lasted as long as other razors. This razor is 100 times better than Schick Intuition Plus Moisturizing Care Pack, Variety Pack, 1 Pack. It's just a big bar of moisturizing soap around the razor that tarnishes after the first use (which in and of itself isn't great). Overall I am very happy with this shaver and will continue to use it. I just wish the refill packs were a little cheaper.
