Did exactly what I needed. No software is included in the scope of delivery. So if you want to watch Blu-ray discs, please make sure to buy the necessary software or use the search engine to find the right software to take full advantage of this product. The user manual recommends PowerDVD or Nero, but there are other options. Disc reading is quiet and fast. It only needs a USB connection to work. Windows 10 automatically recognized the drive. I had replaced an 8 year old Blu-ray player that had finally failed.
