Quick and easy good for computers and accessories

This worked great for duplicating micro SD cards for Raspberry Pi (with USB card reader). It's about the same speed as my PC (20 minutes for two 16GB cards) but it doesn't tie up my computer and I can easily make 6 cards an hour.

Does the job, great customer support. Update to the latest firmware!

At first we couldn't duplicate anything without crashing, but after updating the firmware to the latest version everything went much better. If there was a problem of duplicating cheap Chinese discs with our logo, we would always fail. In the end I managed to get it working if the SOURCE disk was of better quality but same size. Then we could duplicate as many cheap discs as we wanted. So make sure your original drive works, then you can probably duplicate it over a larger area. I spent an hour

Great little device

Ideal for erasing/securing USB sticks (or memory cards with adapters) you don't trust, ie the computer of the customer you don't trust. There's a much lower risk of infecting this thing with a virus or malware than formatting/removing a USB drive with a PC.

Handy and efficient tool

I use this device daily in a large IT environment to clone our image flash drives, among other things, and it's reliable and easy to use. Depending on the target flash drive, it takes us 7 to 22 minutes on average to clone two 16GB drives. Duplication speed is not an issue as this device runs as a background task. Easy to use, worked great.

Easy to use, works great. I bought 20 bulky flash drives, 128MB each, and copied 100MB of files to the first one. I then used a Star Tech Duplicator to make the remaining 19 (identical to the first). I formatted them (FAT-32) and then used copy and compare. Everything worked correctly. Later I checked the copies on the computer.

Productivity boost, time-saving tools

In my job, I often need to duplicate 10-20 USB sticks for OS images. Doing this individually with cloning software was very time consuming. With this tool I can duplicate 5 pieces at a time without using my hands. The best part is that it also duplicates the boot drive. This station does not need to be tuned in. It's light and small, I can put it in my bag to the office with my laptop.

Successfully copies bootable USB drives

I bought this device to clone a bootable USB drive. My boot disk is a Lexar 64G adapter disk with a FreeBSD operating system using the FFS file system. I copied this drive onto two Lexar 64G USB sticks and voila! The copies were identical and bootable. Now if I have a damaged hard drive, I can just copy it and get back to work. Exactly what I needed.

If you copy healthy USB drives, this should work for you.

I have a drive that is no longer recognized by my computers. The hard drive runs and spins. Hoping this could read and copy the disk by bypassing the front software. Vain. What I tried worked fine on healthy disks. So I give it 5 stars. They don't claim to be able to read a damaged hard drive.

Not compatible with all flash drives.

I bought this about a year ago to duplicate some of the drives used as boot systems for our technicians. The original discs were from Kingston and I bought the same ones for copies. I thought I had a bad block as each copy failed. After replacing the block, the replacement did the same. Finally, after working with their tech support, they informed me that they were aware of an issue copying to Kingston drives. I switched to a different brand for the target drive and had no problems.
