The housing of this lamp is a bit too large at the "exit end" and does not fit between the plastic rails in the lamp shaft of the projector. In the attached picture you can see the scratches on the case from my attempts to fit the lamp before you compared it to the old OEM lamp and case that came with the projector and found they didn't match. When replacing the lamp in a projector that was already out of service and in need of repair, albeit temporarily, I did not contact the seller for a replacement or refund. The price was so cheap that I was able to take the bulb out of the case and replace it with an old bad bulb in an OEM case. In terms of brightness and uniformity, the lamp seems to be good. It is noticeably brighter than the 3,000 hour OEM lamp it replaced. The biggest problem, apart from the aforementioned error, is the constant tone around 2400 Hz, which comes out of the lamp at different volumes.
