Works as described, mine only came with concrete fixings (4 star not 5 star reason) so I had to use screws but it still worked. The mount was a bit confusing and the instructions were confusing. BUT the mount works as advertised and holds my 7lb projector.

Pretty cheap materials. Had to modify it and buy screws to hold the projector (Christie LW400 >15.8lbs) horizontally off the wall. Even with the wall plate securely attached I added a hook from the ceiling to tie it to the secondary anchor point as it seemed like the main pole would bend if I didn't. Everything is tightened and installed according to the instructions, but I think sooner or later I'll switch to another

Careful…. If you don't know how to assemble furniture or IKEA jigsaw puzzles, you will find this difficult to assemble. The stand feels solid but is really difficult to assemble as there is no manual included. Also, parts were missing (3 screws), I called Revain and they couldn't help me. It was a nightmare calling and collecting that crap. Ouch! And I couldn't do it sideways because there is no screw. So technically you can only install directly. What a nonsense!

Device works as advertised. It's a really good price and it suits me perfectly. It comes with screws for mounting to a brick or concrete wall, so I had to run to my local hardware store to get drywall screws and some washers. That's all. When I found the bolt it fit perfectly. I just have to lay cables. It has good settings whether it's mounted on a wall or ceiling and is well worth the money if you go out and buy some screws. However, what I don't like is that this product doesn't come with drywall mounting options, instead it comes with concrete or brick mounts. The improvement I would suggest is definitely at least 2-4 drywall anchors and 4 appropriate drywall screws. I have a Goodee projector (older generation model). The product is extremely difficult to understand when assembling, even from the video on You Tube. In the end I just connected it to whatever made the best logical sense. The product attached to the wall with the projector attached to the extension was unstable and appeared to be bending the metal joint that connects the extension to the wall mount.
