This will blow the minds of those from the big store. There is no comparison. If you don't want drops, you will be very disappointed with this gun. I see it being criticized in some reviews for lack of drops. It is what it is. Works well and doesn't drip. It's like complaining that your carpet vacuum is not a wet/dry vacuum. You don't want a drip, then go ahead and get drip-free water. I can see where the lack of drops is a big problem for those going fast with one of them. I don't want to have a loss of pressure in the system without dripping because moving very fast will slow down the process. I'm used to how it works and I like the gun. I found it quicker to release the pressure with my palm. It runs very quietly and the gun pressure works well with the DAP. I bought 2 of these so 2 people could use them at the same time to speed things up. I could move fast enough to get ahead of another person smoothing the seal, to the point where I was smoothing pretty much the same as them and doing the entire seal. The stick that plugs the hole in the tube needs to be thinner so I can use the smaller hole in the tube for sealant if needed.
