Love getting more apple slices. The brush is a great idea for cleaning an apple knife, my old apple knife often had dried parts so I was pleased to see that this company found a way to clean the knife. The main reason I replaced my old apple slicer was that it was becoming increasingly difficult to pierce the apple with it, so I figured the blades were dull. This new one doesn't cut an apple any better than the old one. I'm not sure if it's because there are more pieces to cut through. I'm keeping it because it's very durable and well made, love the extra discs and the handy cleaning brush.
