Fit System 99032 Passenger Replacement Review

The shape of the mirror doesn't match that of the truck, I've tried fitting it but it's a glass mirror. I had to throw it away and buy a new mirror.

Used disc adhesive to hold the mirrors in place and they work great, nice to have a real passenger side mirror instead of the factory mirror "Objects are in the mirror closer than they seem" Glad I ordered two!

It only took a few minutes with a trash can and a ball-peen hammer. Knock out an old mirror over a trash can with a hammer. Scrape off the old glue with a spatula. Glue new spacers and glue this new mirror. Ready.

Mirror glass perfectly cut. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to anyone who has a broken wing mirror (certainly for a specific car). I would recommend manufacturers to provide a little more double sided tape - another inch or so would be ideal.

I ordered this to replace my Eddie Bauer Bronco 96 mirror glass but the fact that it is double sided (mirror glass on both sides) makes it unusable me. I need the original black backing as my mirrors have turn signals. I'll look for another option as I want to install the original V-shaped bezel on it for the display.

Sticky pads - nonsense. I glued the mirror very firmly to the cushions and they seemed strong, but my mirror broke off and smashed into a hundred pieces on the floor the first time I slammed the door. Buy your own sticky pads, which you know are extremely strong (especially if you have an older car with a stubborn door), or better yet, use silicone adhesive as I and others have done. The rest of the mirror fits perfectly.

I bought this to replace a side mirror that fell out of its mount when closing the door on my '96 Bronco. My Bronco has built in turn signals and this mirror did not have a black backing. But I put on a hat to think, and used matte black spray paint and scotch tape. I measured everything I could and taped off the corner where the turn signal is and sprayed the whole back. This is a reversible mirror that can be used on both the driver and passenger side of the vehicle. I felt the description didn't explain it well enough. I would give it 5 stars but the instructions said the mirror had to be attached using the two soft double sided tapes provided. The patches weren't included (I noticed another reviewer had the same issue, so I'm planning on either buying my own or using silicone adhesive). Install OEM method, replace the silicone to prevent mirror loss. The mirror is only for the paddle shaped passenger mirror as it has a curve. The adhesion is ok, but I used my own. Remove the old tape from the backing and stick the new one in the same place. The mirror may fit properly if it's not straight, so put it on right the first time. Squeeze the mirror and squeeze the glass firmly while massaging it to make it pop out of the pad. I used my own signal mirrors as is and they work great…
