Review on GKEEMARS Connector Wall Nut Conductor Assortment by Rob Allen

I ordered this to make installing some smart switches much easier. I liked the variety and number of different sizes, and the price was way better than the local hardware store. I used multiple connectors for 4, 6 and 8 positions. I was very happy with how they all worked. Not sure how useful the 2 position connectors will be to me, but overall this is a great kit. I also appreciate the plastic case. If you make a lot of wires, you know how to use traditional wire nuts on more than 3-4 wires. Getting a nut down to 6-8 wires sometimes seems impossible. Even if you manage to fit 6-8 wires into a conventional wire nut, the resulting mass of wires is so stiff and brittle that I always doubt anything will come loose and arc when I have to plug them back into the junction box . These nuts allow the wires to rotate freely in the connector while staying in place. This helps a lot as the resulting mass of wire isn't stiff and rigid like a traditional twist of a nut would be. Putting it back into the box is much easier as the wires can adjust to their new position in the box without bending. I feel a lot better stuffing everything back into the box with nothing loose or twisted. Once you use them for a 6-8 wire connection, you will be completely convinced of the concept and never go back to using traditional nuts.
