I bought these specifically for my C9 Christmas light bulb. I have an iron fence that I need to light. After two years of trying different cords and untying it for each season, I decided to attach a magnet to the bottom of the lantern to save myself one day. This magnet is the perfect size (exactly the same size as the C9 socket), all I have to do is stick it on the bottom of each lamp and place them over the fence. Reason for minus 1 star: 1) It is black ceramic, not silver-nickel type. The black color fades a little on the hand. And the surface is not glossy 2) The performance is a bit weaker than I expected. The nickel type magnet offers stronger force, but I could not find a nickel type of this size. Overall it does the job and I recommend using it to replace your Christmas lights with a quick release. Delivery was also very fast!
