They're inexpensive and work in a very economical situation, like a basement playroom, rather than those bright LED recessed panels that go everywhere. They prevent lateral glare when the lamp is higher on the slope. They were well packaged and compact to save space without being damaged. What I didn't like is that they have sharp edges, probably due to the lower cost of production.
