These towels work well and are very expensive. I disassemble cars every day and these fill the bill well. They are very absorbent but too thick to finish the paint which is NOT a disadvantage. I use microfiber cloths for finishing. They are excellent for removing wax and polish, and if used too much for painting work they will be degraded for fabric and carpet work. They are also great for use in the kitchen. A typical kitchen towel feels too damp after drying my hands three times, but this one doesn't. Although they are significantly larger than a normal kitchen towel, they easily absorb 4-5 times more moisture. If something is spilled, one of them usually takes care of it without blinking. Since they're thicker, I also use them to deal with hot pan handles. Great all purpose towel.
