I have used this make and model on my last four iPhones. It protects edges and corners without adding bulk. The surface offers a good grip. It's a bit difficult for me when taking a new phone out of the holder in a case. Now I have an iPhone Pro max with sharp edges and flat sides and I think it needs a little break in. I'd rather let it show up when it's not intended. The stand is good in both portrait and landscape modes. It also allows me to slip my thumb or index finger in for a more comfortable grip. I read a lot of books on my phone so this is important to me. Be careful with the kickstand - if you pull it too hard when opening it, it can wear down the pair of pins that hold it in place. Despite this, I will continue to use this brand and model.
