There are many reviews that stat it is a cheap nylon. i guess i got a diffrent one. It is the thick almost canvas material and 3 cats (over 12 lbs.) has been playing non-stop with it and it barely has claw holes.The tube is a thinner material and does collapse when the cat is inside. But not unsafely, it just loses it shape. No bending metal that my snap, just bends with the cats weight.
- Quite rugged but not exactly what I expected, heavier than the other popups I' ve purchased before.
- Some cats may be scared of the tunnel at first
