Review on πŸ”Š Dell AX510 Entry Flat Panel Stereo Sound Bar with Genuine 1908FP Compatibility by Glen Needham

Exactly what we need!

My wife and I are often professional photo editors and I had an old Dell UltraSharp monitor that I gave her when I recently upgraded to a larger monitor. The woman didn't want to leave her traditional "computer speakers" behind, but she still needed a decent audio solution to listen to lectures, watch videos, play puzzles, and listen to background music while she worked. The AX510 speaker mentioned in the monitor's manual was bought here at a surprisingly good price! The speaker was neatly mounted to the underside of the monitor, keeping the desk clean and tidy, and easily connected to the computer's sound source. The speaker is unobtrusive and mostly discreet, which she likes a lot. The audio quality isn't outstanding in my opinion, but I have a couple of large reference monitors on my desk for music work, so I might be biased. However, Dell's small speaker sounds decently loud and has good tonal balance for such a small size. Definitely better than my Acer laptop with Dolby Home Theater built in. The Dell speaker bar sounds better than most computer speakers under $20 that I've tried. Volume is easily adjusted with a large knob on the side, and a small indicator light shows the speaker is on. Features are scarce, but that makes it a great plug-and-play solution. Overall, the AX510 offers excellent value for money and will meet the needs of most regular Dell monitor users looking to save some desk space. space without sacrificing acceptable sound. Highly recommended!
