Review on Soundbar YAMAHA YAS-101 by Seo Jun ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

I bought this device for 9 thousand. Because I could not stand that nasty sound that the recently purchased Samsung TV with a diagonal of 51 inches and LED backlight emits. Very satisfied. The sound picture is very natural and smooth - without thumping bottoms and clattering tops. The subwoofer is audible, but it also reproduces a fair picture. Please note that in the television signal, the bottoms are initially cut off - look at the frequency response of the audio outputs of the TVs. Therefore, the minimum threshold of 50Hz, which YAS-101 honestly wins back for the eyes, blocks the TV signal. And for another, this device is not intended. On another TV, I have a Philips home theater with 5.1 acoustics; when watching movies from DVD, the shots and the roar of the helicopter, of course, play out more spectacularly. But when playing music, the excess bass quickly gets boring. Sound imitations around and so on I consider a perversion - it's better to listen to honest 2.1 images going in the direction from the source of the image than clear sound effects. Conclusions: - ideal for watching TV hung on the wall. - will not replace a full-fledged 5.1 system 5 years of use - normal flight. Very satisfied. I have not seen anything similar compact with a built-in subwoofer.

Pros
  • very high quality sound all in one monoblock - no wires, etc. Great for TV hanging on the wall. controlled by the TV remote control.
Cons
  • I would have built an FM radio into it (if my last name was Yamaha).
