Thin, within the confines of a strong, sturdy cable with my guess enough copper to carry 3 amps 15 feet without significant voltage drop (translation: fast charging possible) . Tested at 2 amps (limited by my test gear) and found a sloppy drop. The connectors are molded with a smooth tapered strain relief clamp. Clearly an excellent product. Looking for a very light cable? It's not like this; heavy copper.
