This bag works well for my purposes but gets a little lost on the seat. It won't get lost if dropped, it just tends to shift if the bag isn't full. Once there are enough items in the bag to tighten the straps, it stops moving. I've tried tightening the straps but if you make it too tight the zipper will pucker and you won't be able to close it. There are really no protective elements on the bag. You could attach a mini lock or a TSA suitcase lock, but I doubt that will last long. Overall, however, the bag does what I need it for and looks pretty good.
