Had real trouble keeping sat nav on windscreen. When this happened, I didn't like constantly looking up to see it and leaning forward to make changes. With that all problems were solved. The device stays on the mount with no problems. And I have no issues with the mount sliding on the dashboard. It's flexible enough to conform to the curves of my dashboard. Used in the Chevy Tahoe, it puts the screen in a much better position so I don't have to take my eyes off the road and can easily reach it to make changes. My wife liked it so much that she is now wearing it. It also helps with security. We have a big problem in my area with sat navs being stolen from cars, mainly because people leave them on the windshield where they're easy to see. When I get out of the car I can just take it whole and put it on the ground where it won't be visible.
