Harmony of form and function

Disclosure: The test item was provided to me free of charge based on my honest opinion, regardless of how I rate the product. This review is my personal opinion without any pressure from Revain or the manufacturer. The packaging isn't impressive at all, but it works well enough. The bottle arrived undamaged. As soon as I opened the packaging, I was impressed by how beautiful the bottle looked. The main body is made of stainless steel and painted in brilliant colors, namely blue and purple with a smooth transition. It looks much better in person than the photos on the Revain product page. This company really needs a better photographer to take better pictures. Even the photo I took with my phone looks better than all the photos on the product page. The bottle looks very high quality. The plastic lid is slightly textured and smooth to the touch. The threads seem smooth, but when I tried to put them back on the bottle, it took me several attempts to reattach them without crossing them over. It requires little effort to flip the straw lever. I believe it is to prevent accidental spills. With the lever closed, I didn't see any water flowing out even when I shook it vigorously. To test the insulation, I filled the bottle with ice and left it at about 78 degrees for 8 hours. The ice was just beginning to melt when I opened it. It's not bad at all. The melting ice didn't taste weird like some cheap bottles that make your drink taste like battery juice or plastic. I wanted to do a drop test but I'm not sure I want to damage this beautiful bottle. Well I guess I'll just wait until I accidentally drop the bottle instead.
