Surprise - it works

Received this because some family members have sensitive skin and thought it might be worth a try. It's been hot and muggy this summer, and when you sweat in your clothes, you're releasing leftovers from the wash. Rubbish (plastic cloth drying towels). I also didn't like the "spiritual" smell and suspected the stuff in the sheets was irritating to the skin. So I grabbed some new t-shirts, which are usually very crunchy, downright rough, and uncomfortable. I don't know why, but some of my cotton t-shirts are like sandpaper. With a normal wash without fabric softener (no liquid, no sheets) they will crunch. They are slightly better with drier sheets, but still not very comfortable. I threw them in the Downey laundry. I always use an extra conditioner and expect the extra conditioner to remove all the fabric softener. Then they went to the dryer, no drying sheets. Result? SOFT SHIRTS. Seems really soft. It smelled *faintly* of fabric softener but not perfume, not unpleasant, a fresh smell I think. I hadn't expected that at all. It really worked, even with an extra rinse. There are no strange sensations when wearing soft clothing - nothing sticky, sticky, etc. I don't notice any odor either. Family members did not report itching or irritation during activity when sweating with clothing in contact with their skin. I also notice that I don't get any irritation in certain spots where I sweat on hot days where I used to itch from drying the sheets. One thing to note: Do not use on towels as although they are very soft they do not absorb water. Cotton towels are usually soft and without fabric softener. Summary: Totally surprised it works, but it works.
