For severely damaged hair this is the perfect product. Directions say to apply an adequate amount, but even a small amount will help repair dandruff that has been stressed by heat, color, and normal daily brushing. I've been using this product for 10 years and my hair is stronger than ever. After shampooing, apply a mask, cover with a treatment cap and do something else. The longer the product stays on the hair, the better. If you're short on time you can also use a hat and blow dryer, but personally I prefer to avoid as much heat as possible. Strong and soft hair is always the result after use. I do not recommend this product as a post wash conditioner as it can actually do more harm than good. My advice is to use it every three weeks or so. Nice to have on hand, no regrets.
