It's a stretchy, wide belt. I'm currently a size 22, and the 3xl fits. The metal is brass and I did have one of the little girls with whom I work ask why I was wearing Santa's belt. That made me pause a bit, but it won't make me not wear it.

Bc no For the price it was ok but n at the cost of damaging my dress it’s not worth it. There were inside screws or whatever. They were rough to the touch and never realized until i took the belt off that evening and and the entire area where i had the belt was snagged and threads pulled from the belt. First time wearing the dress and 1st time wearing the belt . .my dress is ruined

This belt served the purpose. Would like it even more if it was it was leather instead of fabric but for the price you can't beat it

True to plus size. Fit well. I am 280 lbs. 43 inc. waist and it fit me snugly which is what I wanted. I ordered the XL in black.
