Review on πŸ’‘ Seasonic Focus SGX-650: Compact 650W Gold SFX Power Supply with Full Modular Design and Silent 120mm Fan by Randy Albright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The cables are too short! Do not use for normal ATX case!

This power supply is very small. I haven't built a computer in a while so I figured it might be normal or just for use in ITX cases or something. But the PSU says SFX/ATX so I bought it (there is an adapter plate so it can be installed in the ATX hole). It looks like a quality device and it powers my computer perfectly out of the case. Once everything was set up and running, I started plugging the components into the mid-tower case (Be quiet Pure Base 500), ignoring the cable routing in the slots provided behind the motherboard to keep the case looking neat let, these cables did not even reach it. when driving directly from point to point. I just couldn't get them to get from the PSU to the motherboard. I wanted to give them 1 star because it's very disappointing that a new computer is sitting there and can't be used until I fix this issue and my old computer was also broken into pieces due to a few parts being moved. However, since the power supply can work for a long time without any problems in the RIGHT CASE, I downgraded it to only 3 stars. Beware! Only use it in the smallest cases.
