I have an APEC RO-90 that has now become an APEC RO-HI with this kit. In addition to this high flow retrofit kit, I also added an APEC TANK 14 14 gallon tank to my setup. The last item I want to add is the permeate pump kit. But of course you want to know that, don't you? I would say to other reviewers who said it doesn't increase flow, your problem is most likely inlet pressure. As I said, my system started out as the RO-90. The price of this kit was worth the money to me as it significantly increases the flow of water from the fridge dispenser and also eliminates ice maker problems. If you add this kit and you still have flow issues, you will need to add a booster pump as the inlet pressure may not be sufficient. Line pressure gauges are readily available and are cheap and easy to install.
