Rubbish - mounting plate cannot be hidden under the case)

Mounting instructions are too complicated to apply multiple "stickers" (this is explained in the product details, so it shouldn't be a surprise when unpacking). That). In the end, here's the big problem with the mount: the leather-covered panel has to be on the outside of the phone or case. I'm using a single layer Spigen TPU case. It doesn't get much thinner, but looking at the device from the side, the phone slips off the magnets when the metal/leather plate is placed on the back of the phone or in the case. The ONLY way to keep this thing safe is to put the skin on the OUTSIDE of the case. Good luck with it. I mean, if you don't care how your carefully chosen phone and case looks and function is all that matters, then this shouldn't be a problem. To be honest, however, I've had many magnetic vent mounts that work great without metal plates on the outside of the case, so stepping back isn't the best option at this point. The technology exists! These "strong magnets" are not that strong. Not compatible with Pixel 5. This is not a Qi issue. The problem is similar to the Galaxy S20: the mounting plate covers the fingerprint reader, and due to the size of the phone, the placement of the fingerprint reader and the size of the device, there is literally only one place to install the leather-covered mounting plate. This incompatibility is not explicitly listed on the product page, but it is also not listed as compatible. If you're on a Pixel 5, look elsewhere. Other magnetic mount chargers require less real estate for their metal plates, which doesn't mean that wireless and magnetic devices are out of the question. I just foolishly thought that this mount with magnets above and below the charging coils would be my best bet. Unfortunately, this mount requires good simultaneous contact with the magnets on BOTH sides of the charging coils to hold the phone securely enough to move with.
