Very good after different keycaps

Bought this half keyboard for Final Fantasy XIV. I play from a laptop, which wasn't a huge problem for other games, but was more of a disaster for an MMORPG (for me). I was mostly happy with the keyboard, except for one small flaw. I was initially hesitant to order this keyboard as the price was very good. I realize how crazy that sounds - it's cheap, which made me question the quality. I nearly pulled the trigger on the Razer Tartarus and am now very glad I didn't. The quality of the keyboard is very good. I don't find the palm rest useful, but other than that I'm very satisfied with the performance of the keyboard. You can even switch switches if you want - awesome! I think I got a great deal for this price range. Keyboard performance was more than adequate. Now I understand that having a true half keyboard is a huge advantage. Tartarus has many good features, but it's not a keyboard. I could map the Ctrl, Shift, etc. keys, but it wouldn't look like a keyboard, which is important when trying to find the Ctrl-Shift-6 key. This Redragon is great for that. My only concern with this Redragon keyboard is wireless use. The wireless backlight turns off fairly quickly, within a minute or two. When I'm sitting in a cutscene and moving my hand, I have to press a button to figure out where to place my fingers to move. This was a problem for me, so I added colored keycaps to the keyboard. They are also rubberized which is even better for me. I later found that when using the cable, the light was on all the time, so I switched to the cable, and now I don't know if I can find any fault, along with the keycaps. I can confirm that the button switches are quite noisy. This newer version of the software does not allow customization of all buttons. Neither bothers me enough to make changes. Overall I like this keyboard and would recommend it, especially considering the amount of money I paid. It made my FFXIV more enjoyable.
