I got this product for a trip to Iceland and it was great for charging my iPhone from the USB port. However, US plugs are more difficult as they are blocked by a plastic element. Maybe I'm using it wrong, but it's very annoying when the plastic part gets stuck and I have to use force to insert the connector, which can damage the connector. I don't see any benefit in having that piece of plastic blocking the hole. You can see it in the picture. Other than that, this is a great product. Luckily I also had another cheap plug adapter that I used for my laptop, so I only used this product to USB charge my phone.
