The sound quality is amazing. I like that I have the ability to change the sound myself. I listen to different types of music. I prefer the Jlab signature on some songs and the bass boost on others. (I like feeling my music) Balanced mode isn't for me, but might be preferable for those listening to podcasts or audiobooks. You can set your own balance, but I couldn't find a better balance than the preset ones. Only notification mode works so-so. If you have a lower volume, it works. When you turn up the volume, the music still drowns out everything but the high notes. I've also had very loud audio noises from time to time, so I'll leave it out. I don't notice any difference between noise reduction on and off. I can't hear any background noise unless someone is screaming. Call quality is pretty poor, background noise is picked up and amplified for the person on the other end. I love the touch controls and the fact that I can customize what happens with some touches. I turned off auto pause when you take out one of the headphones. It worked for a while and then started auto-suspending again even though it was disabled in the app. I have very small ears and the earplugs often hurt after wearing them for a long time. This is no exception, my ears hurt. I managed to fit them comfortably in the ear canal but the outer ear still hurts. If I pull my earlobe down, the pain goes away, so I think the earbud case is too big for my ears. I'll try them some more to see if my ears adjust to the size because I like the sound. I haven't had enough time to comment on the battery life or durability of these.
