Temperature too high!
This may not be the case with every pad but the one we bought showed a temperature of 120 degrees. We used a thermometer between the carpet and the carpet on top of the carpet that we use upstairs and then the new one (which we bought for the bottom floor). The pillow on top heated up to 105 degrees, the new one - up to 120 degrees. Too hot. We returned it.
