Really loud, but very bad design. Beeps and whistles all by itself all the time.

I understand this is a pretty cheap receiver. Looks like the designers trimmed a few corners to get a cheap product. The components required to eliminate digital noise from the audio output add less than 1% to the cost. The simplest of these modifications would be a switch on the back to disable the blue-tooth interface. I bought this receiver as a power amplifier for my workshop computer. I could get away with the unscalable 4dB volume jump, cheesy bright blue lights, and poorly placed front panel buttons. The real problem is the digital noise caused by the blue-tooth interface. Even with the blue tooth input not selected, digital noise from the RF interface will seep into the front end of the amplifier and be audible. Digital noise is amplified when connected to a Blue Tooth source. I used my phone to connect to the receiver to see if the digital noise gets removed. Digital noise increased when connected to a Blue Tooth source. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. The Blue Tooth RF section is not protected from low level audio inputs. Digital noise is likely leaking through the common power supply connections. The blue tooth interface searches for external blue tooth sources every 2-3 minutes. This will produce a long beep, similar to a smoke detector's low battery alarm. This unit is located in a small machine shop and these noises are due to machines running. Repayment.
