There was another review that I wish I had seen that discussed how razor sharp the edges are near the latch that you use to release. It is no lie and not realizing how sharp, I sliced my finger wide open. I am shocked how sharp the metal is right next to the release latches. They do work as advertised and it's holding a fairly heavy shelf but I will need to figure a way to dull the edges down. As another reviewer mentioned, maybe sanding it would help? I would look elsewhere if your purpose is to raise and lower often or just modify before installing.
